Four decades after STEVE EARLE’s debut shook up Nashville, we’re marking the anniversary with a full-throttle tribute to the record that rewrote the rules. Guitar Town didn’t just climb to the top of the Billboard country chart, it earned Grammy nominations, won the Rolling Stone Critics Poll and announced a new voice with grit, purpose and determination.

Shane Nicholson and Duncan Phillips, backed by an all-star band featuring Brad Christmas, James Gilligan, Craig Kelly and Matt Gibson, will take the stage to recreate the album exactly as it first landed in 1986. From Guitar Town through to Down the Road, no shortcuts, no rearranging, just the album as Steve Earle intended the world to hear it.

After the full run-through, the band will return to play a collection of songs that have kept Steve Earle in constant rotation for forty years with special guests Freya Josephine Hollick, Lachlan Bryan, Rebecca Barnard and Kim Volkman. Expect deep cuts, celebrated duets and a few all time favourites to bring the night to an unforgettable crescendo.
